My Wardrobe

A 70s Summer

With spring officially here in Sydney, and the tail-end of a European summer on my mind, it seemed like the perfect time to start assessing my warm weather wardrobe.

This summer, I'm definitely drawn to print more than ever, with gingham, stars and florals all making an appearance. But at the end of the day, I'm always on the lookout for easy, every day pieces that give a subtle nod to the new season. The new Karen Millen collection touches on a few of the key trends that I have been seeing over the past few months. From bold, graphic colours to lace, florals, and my look of choice, that 70s vibe which seems to be here to stay. I have been living in flares since they resurfaced over a year ago, and this pair with their double pockets and banded waist are a flattering and comfortable addition to any wardrobe. I also went for this contrast applique blouse which I thought would be perfect for my upcoming travels.
