My Wardrobe

Why It's Time To Try a Grey Bag

I just got back from a whirlwind trip to Hong Kong which had me back in floaty dresses, light linens and oversized cotton shirts to beat the heat and humidity. One thing I realised when it came to dressing for both that weather, and Spring in LA, was that is was time to change up my accessories. Most of the bags I own are black, it's the safe choice and they really do look great with anything. However when I saw this cross body style by Loxley England, I thought it was about time I add some grey into my accessories rotation.

Grey bags are just as versatile as black, yet they add a subtle point of difference to an everyday outfit, and look perfect paired with soft denims, blues, camels and, you guessed it, black & white. Grey is a safe way to experiment with tone and colour, just light enough to feel fresh but not to light that you have to worry about using it everyday. If you're still not sure whether grey is right for you, this particular style even comes in a black/grey contrast so you can ease in.

The philosophy behind Loxely is clean lines, simplicity and functionality - exactly what I look for when investing in a new wardrobe staple. The leathers are built to last, so you know they will age beautifully and survive a bit of travelling (a must-have for me!).
