Spring Update - The New Neutrals

This season, I have teamed up with Saba to show you my take on Spring Racing looks. First up, is my take on colour - perfect for those moments when you feel like trying something a little different.

My wardrobe is 90% black and white, but of course there are those occasions when I feel like being a bit more adventurous. The Races is definitely one of them, I see it as a great excuse to try out new tones and experiment with accessories. For this season, my two favourite colours which fall more into neutral territory, with navy and beige. They both pair back so well with just about everything and are the perfect way to integrate a subtle bit of colour into your wardrobe.

I have kept this navy look quite tonal, by completing it with a matching coloured scarf and bag. A skinny scarf and hoop earrings are two of my must-have accessories for the season, they add a slight 70s’ touch that when paired with the draped silhouette of this dress still feels modern.

For my second look, I also paired this pleated dress with a skinny scarf (worn around the waist) and a wide brimmed straw hat. I love the contrast of the soft shape of the dress paired with the strong black lines of the waist tie and hat band.
