One of my favourite things about holidays is having extra time to devote to breakfast. Whether it's tracking down the perfect cafe should you be out of town or experimenting with new recipes if having a staycation. Sophie Dahl's book, Very Fond of Food, was one of my Christmas presents to self and it's proving to be a favourite already. I have made these strawberry ricotta pancakes twice this week and will be very sad to see them become a weekend-only affair once I'm back in the office.
I'll be posting my recipe for for another favourite (paleo pancakes) soon, but in the meantime I have two days of holidays left to try out my new waffle iron. Wish me luck!
