We have been in our new place for two weeks now and it's definitely keeping us busy! This weekend involved unpacking the last of the boxes, patching up a little bit of paint after having our new lights installed, putting together some Ikea furniture and working out what space to decorate (and DIY) next.
Our new bedroom has no built-ins so we decided to make the most of the space and create an open closet that's in keeping with the style of our home. The shelf was a DIY job which Rohan's dad help us put up, we sourced the timber from a hardware store and the brackets are from Ikea which we painted to match our walls.
Next was trying to find the perfect dresser to have between our racks. I looked around a few different ones but we ended up deciding to customise these Ikea draws after seeing this very inspirational renovation post over at Smitten Studio.
More to come soon!
