Banana Chia Smoothie

I can't get enough of smoothies during summer, they make for a great snack or healthy breakfast on the go. This year I have been trying lots of different smoothie and chia pudding combinations so I thought I would share one of my favourite recipes with you.

Banana Chia Smoothie

1 banana
1 cup of almond milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon hemp seeds
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Serve with an extra sprinkling of cinnamon if desired.

Notes: This also tastes great with hazlenut or coconut milk (you could use rice or oat milk too), for extra nutiness add a teaspoon of almond butter and if you're post-gym you can try adding a serve of raw protein powder.
