I'm not making any resolutions this year. I had a list last week which I had been adding to over the course of December before realising that maybe this year I didn't need another list (I make so many all year round), but rather a reminder of all there is to be grateful for and to appreciate each and every day. As Joan so eloquently put in in her address to the University of California, Riverside, in 1975, maybe this should be my year of living recklessly and taking chances. Well, after my wedding anyways.
